Vega Lopez is a French artist born in France in 1994. In 2015, he graduated from Olivier de Serres, one of the most prestigious Parisian schools of arts & crafts. After graduation, Vega Lopez embarked on travels overseas and created a prolific body of artworks inspired by the myths and stories of the different countries he visited. Drawings, paintings, prints, murals and Street Art compose the first corpus of his work, which strives to narrate to us. An almost anthropological tale through contemporary shapes, humor and philosophy.

Returning to Europe, he studied & worked for a year at Atelier Lorenzi, one of the few remaining large Art casting workshops, thus enabling him to complement his repertoire with large-scale sculptures & bas-reliefs. In addition to this training, Vega Lopez took living model sketching classes and started fulfilling commissioned orders. He realized murals for public spaces, especially in hospitals (Caen CHU, Verneuil CHU, Educational & Medical Institute of Vire) and for private clients in Paris, Antibes & Lille (hotels, restaurants & residentials). He also enjoyed animating creative workshops making art accessible to different publics.
